Supply Chain

Hungary sits at the crossroads between the EU single market and third countries — a strategically attractive logistics location for warehousing, production, and distribution.

Hungary as a Logistics Hub in Europe
Hungary serves as a pivotal hub for logistics and supply chain development in Europe. The nation boasts a central geographic position, robust infrastructure, and a skilled workforce. Numerous industrial and commercial zones feature modern warehouses, production facilities, and office spaces, providing companies with optimal conditions for establishing their operations. Hungary's lower wage and energy costs relative to other EU nations enable companies to minimise expenses and enhance competitiveness.
Online Marketing & Webshop

Getting found – without an advertising budget.

We support you in setting up and organising your webshop for Hungary, Austria and Germany – from the technical implementation to the question that decides success today: how do customers find your offer without you paying for every single visitor?

The honest answer: not with classic SEO alone any more. Placing keywords and collecting backlinks was the standard recipe for a long time. Today, more and more people ask their questions directly to AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI Overviews – and receive a finished answer instead of a list of links. If you want to be mentioned there, repeating the right search terms is not enough; you need to provide the best, clearest and most reliable answer.

Knowledge instead of sales copy
Well-founded guides, beginner tutorials and a consistently structured knowledge base answer the real questions your customers ask.
Clear answers, well structured
FAQs with direct answers, data sheets and comparison pages that people and machines alike understand immediately.
Readable for AI assistants
An llms.txt file and product data sheets in Markdown format give AI systems a reliable, machine-readable basis about your company and your products.
Talking product pages
Customers ask their questions directly by voice – this builds trust and shows you what your customers really want to know.
Presence where your customers are
A blog and accompanying channels such as YouTube, Instagram or Telegram amplify the content and keep bringing visitors back.

The result is visitors who come by themselves – via search engines, AI recommendations and word of mouth – regardless of whether a paid campaign happens to be running. We built and tested this approach in a webshop project of our own.

Lightning-fast Shipping
Your customers deserve to receive their orders as quickly as possible. With our optimised shipping processes, we guarantee fast delivery times that not only increase customer satisfaction but also boost your repeat purchase rate.
Seamless Dropshipping
Unlock your business potential with our professional dropshipping service. Avoid high storage costs and focus on what you do best — selling. We handle inventory and shipping while you concentrate on growing your business.
Simple Returns Processing
Returns don't have to be complicated! Our straightforward returns procedure ensures your customers always feel confident in their purchases. A smooth returns process builds trust and keeps customers coming back.
Transparent Real-time Tracking
Knowing when and where every parcel is — that is the service your customers expect. With our advanced tracking system, both you and your customers have full visibility over every shipment at all times.
RADURIS Publishing

RADURIS Publishing — Knowledge that holds up in practice.

Under the RADURIS umbrella, we publish specialist publications, guides and newsletters. Our titles are released under various publishing imprints — each thematically focused, tailored to a specific audience and editorially independent from one another.

A core focus lies on entrepreneurial topics: internationalisation, business management, and the tax and legal frameworks in Central Europe. Further labels address topics beyond the office desk — where independence, nature and applied knowledge converge.

We deliberately do not present our own titles individually here – our publishing programme is growing, and new publications are in preparation. At the same time, we are opening our publishing house to others: do you have knowledge that deserves a book? Then we will accompany you on the way there – from the first outline to the finished paperback and e-book.

Coming soon: your own book with the Hermyon book assistant
Many experts carry a book within them – and never write it, because the path from knowledge to a finished manuscript seems too long. This is exactly where the book assistant from our software brand Hermyon comes in: it guides you step by step from the first idea to a print-ready file. You contribute your experience; the assistant helps with structuring, writing and typesetting. And if you wish, you can then publish with RADURIS. The book assistant is in its final stage of development – take a first look at hermyon.ai.

What all our publications share: substance over filler. Practice over theory. Authors who know their field from first-hand experience.

Project Business

Some tasks do not fit neatly into standard service categories. For these situations, we work on a project basis — with a clearly defined scope, timeline and responsibilities. The range spans from site analyses and authority liaison to temporary on-site management assignments.

We take on projects where local presence, language skills and market knowledge are decisive factors. Our network in Hungary allows us to identify the right contacts quickly and coordinate processes efficiently — even at short notice.

Every project begins with a clear briefing and ends with a measurable outcome. No open-ended retainers, no undefined mandates. Exactly what was agreed.

What the path to Hungary can look like

The following examples are typical scenarios compiled from our day-to-day consulting work – not specific client cases.

Small business

The online retailer with three employees

An online retailer from Germany wants its imports from Asia to be delivered directly to Hungary in future and to serve customers throughout Central and Eastern Europe from there.

  1. The starting questionIs a separate Kft worth it – and what does it mean for customs, taxes, accounting and shipping?
  2. FormationKft based on the statutory model deed, registered office, tax number and business account – coordinated from a single source.
  3. Day-to-day operationsGerman-speaking support with accounting and deadlines, registration for the EU VAT One-Stop-Shop (OSS) so that sales to private customers throughout the EU are declared centrally via Hungary, plus customs clearance for the imports from Asia, a multilingual webshop, shipping and returns.
  4. VisibilityGuides and clear answers that customers find through search engines and AI assistants – without a permanent advertising budget.

What the business owner gains: one point of contact for everything that comes up in Hungary – instead of five different service providers.

Mid-sized company

The supplier with around 150 employees

A supplier from Upper Austria is evaluating how to reach customers throughout Hungary through a company of its own in Hungary.

  1. The starting questionWhich location, which legal form, which skilled workers – and how does it fit into the existing supply chain?
  2. AnalysisSite comparison, access to the transport corridors towards Vienna and Bratislava, labour market, talks with municipalities and authorities.
  3. Set-upCompany formation, posting of the first employees with A1 certificate and posting notification, integration into purchasing and logistics.
  4. TransitionTemporary management tasks on site until the company's own management is in place – as a clearly defined project.

What the company gains: a decision based on facts rather than assumptions – and a partner who carries the implementation on the ground.

What business owners want to know before moving to Hungary

How do I set up a Kft in Hungary – and how long does it take?

In Hungary, a company is always formed through a lawyer or notary, who drafts or countersigns the deed of foundation and files the application electronically with the court of registration. Using the statutory model deed, the court decides in the simplified procedure within one business day; with individually drafted articles, within 15 business days.

How much share capital do I need?

The minimum share capital of a Kft is HUF 3,000,000, with a minimum contribution of HUF 100,000 per member. Cash contributions do not have to be paid in full at formation: the articles can provide for later payment within the statutory deadline. As long as contributions are outstanding, the company may not pay dividends.

Which taxes does a Kft pay on its income?

Corporate income tax is a flat 9% – one of the lowest rates in the EU. In addition, there is the municipal business tax (helyi iparűzési adó): each municipality sets its own rate, up to a maximum of 2%. Its base is not profit but net turnover less certain costs such as cost of goods sold, materials and subcontractor services. Smaller and medium-sized companies can opt for the small business tax KIVA at 10% instead; it replaces corporate income tax and employer contributions and essentially taxes profits only when they are distributed. Which option pays off depends on the individual case.

Does the managing director have to live in Hungary?

Hungarian company law does not require residence in Hungary. Members and managing directors living abroad appoint a delivery agent in Hungary, for example a law firm. The Kft itself has its registered office in Hungary. What matters is that the structure reflects the actual business activity – with your own employees who carry the day-to-day business on site. We are happy to support you in building your team in Hungary.

How do I open a Hungarian business bank account?

A Hungarian Kft is required to hold a domestic payment account and to handle its payments through it; the deadline starts when the tax number is assigned. The bank identifies the managing directors and beneficial owners under anti-money-laundering rules. Many banks require an in-person appointment in Hungary – fully prepared documents shorten the process considerably.

What applies when I post employees from Germany or Austria to Hungary?

For social security, posted employees need an A1 certificate. It confirms that the law of the home country continues to apply for up to 24 months; in Germany it has been applied for exclusively electronically since 2025, usually via the health insurance fund. In addition, Hungary requires an online posting notification to the labour inspectorate before work begins; depending on the case, a tax notification may also be necessary.

Who handles accounting and tax returns – and can it be done in German?

A Kft must keep double-entry books; the annual financial statements and tax returns are prepared in Hungarian, and for a calendar financial year the financial statements must be filed by 31 May. In Hungary, bookkeeping may only be carried out by state-registered accountants (mérlegképes könyvelő). We work with such professionals and act as your German- or English-speaking point of contact: you receive reports and deadlines in your language, while the local team takes care of the Hungarian formalities.

As of September 2026. The answers provide a general overview and do not replace legal or tax advice in the individual case.

Let's work
together.

We look forward to hearing from you and exploring opportunities in the Hungarian market together.
